Utillian simply can\u2019t get enough of releasing budget-friendly convection vaporizers. The latest addition to their collection is the Utillian 620, which promises good convection flavor in a sleek new design.<\/span><\/p>\n

How it Works \u2013 How to use the Utillian 620<\/h3>\n

The Utillian 620 is straightforward in its operation. Pull the magnetic mouthpiece off the unit and load your herb in, then replace it.<\/p>\n

There are three buttons on the side of the device \u2013 the power button, and the up and down buttons. Press the power button 5 times to turn the unit on. Then press the up and down buttons to get to your preferred temperature.<\/p>\n

The 620 will start heating up automatically and takes about 40 seconds to heat up, 20 seconds faster than the new Crafty Plus<\/a>. It will vibrate to let you know you have reached temperature and you\u2019re ready to vaporize!\"Utillian<\/span><\/div><\/div>

Temperature Flexibility \u2013 Precise Temperature Control for Customizable Sessions<\/h3>\n

The 620 has precise temperature control from 160 to 220 degrees Celsius, covering the usual spectrum of temperatures, and features a display similar to that of the Utillian 420<\/a> and 421.<\/p>\n

Like with most vaporizers, lower temperatures will give you better flavor and fewer clouds, while higher will give you more vapor and less flavor.<\/p>\n

We find for all practical purposes; this temperature range gets the job done well. It is also app free, which is great news for all Apple users, with the recent vaporizer app ban.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Vapor Quality \u2013 Does the 620 hold up to its brothers?<\/h3>\n

The Utillian 620 is another mark in Utillian\u2019s seemingly unending quest to design better and better vaporizers. This unit features helix convection, which is a super cool and unique feature.<\/p>\n

It elongates the air path and provides a more even cook of your herbs, which is a phenomenal thing to have on this budget-friendly vaporizer. You can also remove convection helix entirely for easy cleaning, but more on that later.<\/p>\n

When you draw on the 620, the air comes up through the air path and circulates around the helix, warming the air. This increases the heat transfer surface area, which leads to better heat transfer.<\/p>\n

To simplify, the air temperature ends up higher than it would if it was just a straight path, leading to a more even cook and consistent temperature for your draws.<\/p>\n

Suffice to say the 620 does not disappoint in the vapor quality department. I have been using it for about a week now and I have no complaints because the convection helix is removable the airpath is certainly less clogged.<\/p>\n

The borosilicate glass mouthpiece then cools down the vapor well before it hits your lips, leading to some great, tasty, cool hits. <\/div><\/div><\/span>

Manufacturing Quality \u2013 New Look, Familiar Features<\/h3>\n

The Utillian 620 follows the rest of the Utillian line with an anodized aluminum shell that is well built and sturdy. It follows in the footsteps of it\u2019s most recent younger brother and opts for a more stylish, square look.<\/p>\n

The 620 has an aluminum heating chamber, and the bottom of the heating chamber, which is also part of the convection helix, can be removed to be cleaned and keep your air and vapor path free of debris.<\/p>\n

It features a similar display to the 420 and 421, just a little larger in size. It also has a magnetic tool at the bottom of the unit to help with loading, emptying your bowl, removing the convection helix and giving it a quick stir between sessions.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve also made the borosilicate glass mouthpiece magnetic, which is great, as everything just kind of neatly slots into place and stays there.<\/p>\n

It takes about 40 seconds to heat up and has a one-year hassle-free warranty just in case, which is never a bad addition.<\/p>\n

Battery Life \u2013 How far does the Utillian 620 go?<\/h3>\n

The 620 has a 2300mah non-removable internal battery that will give you roughly 60 minutes of continuous use, nothing to laugh at by any means.<\/p>\n

For a herb vaporizer<\/a> this size, this is slightly above average, and will definitely last most users a day or two before needing to be topped up with a charge.<\/p>\n

The 620 charges with a standard Micro-USB cable, which I\u2019m sure you have 14 of by now.<\/p>\n

Portability \u2013 Can you take the 620 with you?<\/h3>\n

The Utillian 620 is a great travel buddy. Slightly bigger than the 421 but smaller than something like the Crafty Plus, it fits in your hand and easily slips into any pocket or bag.<\/p>\n

The only issue I can foresee is the glass mouthpiece, but it is made of borosilicate glass and sticks up less than an inch, so I can\u2019t imagine it will break in your pocket, but I\u2019d say don\u2019t put it in your pocket and go rock climbing or hip thrust any sharp objects, which you probably shouldn\u2019t be doing anyway.<\/p>\n

It is slightly more compact than the Utillian 722 and travels well. If you feel the need for a case, check out the ZEUS Armor<\/a>, which is a great smell proof case that has room for your grinder and vaporizer.<\/p>\n

Ease of Use \u2013 How similar is it to the rest of the Utillian lineup?<\/h3>\n

Utillian is always striving to make the user experience as simple as possible and the 620 does not disappoint.<\/p>\n

While I enjoy the one-button design of the 720 and 420 lines, the 3-button system is easy to operate without any complications.<\/p>\n

With the magnetic mouthpiece at the top of the unit and the magnetic tool at the bottom, the whole loading process is simple and straightforward.<\/p>\n

The ability to remove the convection helix for cleaning purposes is great too, as you can remove both screens from either side of the chamber and soak them in isopropyl to get them nice and clean.<\/p>\n

Then the vapor and air path are easily cleaned with the included brush or a Zeus Purify kit<\/a> for more extensive cleaning, and the entire cleaning process just feels like it was given a lot of thought to, so it\u2019s got that going for it, which is nice. <\/div><\/div>

\"Utillian<\/h3>\n

Discreetness \u2013 is the U620 Stealthy?<\/h3>\n

While vaporizers are becoming more and more prevalent these days, it never hurts to have a discreet device.<\/p>\n

The 620 does not disappoint, as it is completely hidden by most hands and the black shell and mouthpiece definitely add to its low-key profile.<\/p>\n

The biggest issue I would say is probably going to be the digital display, and even that isn\u2019t bright enough to attract much attention. Plus, with its size, it can easily slip away into any pocket should the need arise.<\/p>\n

\"UtillianOverall Experience \u2013 She works hard for the money<\/h3>\n

Overall, the Utillian 620 is a great vaporizer, and that helix convection innovation is something we\u2019d like to see in more devices.<\/p>\n

We love to see innovation in the vaporizer world and can\u2019t say enough about the quality of vapor out of this device.<\/p>\n

Due to the size and battery life, it has definitely made its way into my lineup as a great travel buddy. It is a great device for beginners and connoisseurs alike, as it is simple to use but has some subtle features that undoubtedly make it a top-shelf unit.<\/p>\n

The magnetic tool on the bottom is great for stirring a bowl in between draws and emptying it once you\u2019re done. The magnetic mouthpiece is perfect for easy loading, and it all just feels like Utillian put a serious amount of thought into each and every aspect of this great budget convection device.<\/p>\n

We are very happy with what the Utillian 620 has to offer and can recommend it as an upgrade over the Utillian 420 or as a great alternative to more expensive convection units like the Crafty Plus. Another great option you might want to try is the Utillian 722 vaporizer<\/a>.<\/p>\n
