At the time of the release, the <a href=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/davinci-iqc.html\">Davinci IQC<\/a> really blew our socks off in terms of the innovation and features packed inside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Still one of our favorite and one of the best portable dry herb vapes around, DaVinci has given the IQ a nice refresh and brought us the <a href=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/davinci-iq2-vaporizer.html\">DaVinci IQ2<\/a>, yet again bringing innovation and creativity to the market in ways we didn\u2019t even think possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We hope this innovation extends to their patent pending oil pen. Scroll through to see patent photos.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">Why an Oil Vape?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Naturally, we\u2019re excited with the prospect of a new DaVinci device coming out. While we\u2019d prefer some cool new dry herb vaporizers, we\u2019re welcoming of innovation on other fronts. It seems to be an oil-cartridge based device, one made to compete with like the likes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/pax-era-review\/\">Pax Era<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/stiizy-oil-pen-review\/\">Stiiizy oil pen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20046\" src=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main4.jpg\" alt=\"Davinci Oil Vape\" width=\"700\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main4.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main4-650x311.jpg 650w, https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main4-325x156.jpg 325w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As cannabis is legalized in Canada with concentrates becoming more common around North America as a whole, it\u2019s only natural for DaVinci to branch out into other territories. Unless they\u2019ve really got some insane tech in store for us, this appears to be a concentrates vape, and more likely an oil vape rather than wax.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">Size is an indicator<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We\u2019ve managed to scour the internet and find some information regarding size. The biggest indicator, this slim little device appears to be along the lines of the Pax Era and Kandypens Rubi in form factor too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Most oil vapes are similarly small, that\u2019s just the nature of them. It\u2019s entirely possible that DaVinci makes this into a wax vaporizer too, but we think it\u2019s most likely an oil vape.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20050 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main8.jpg\" alt=\"Davinci Vape Pen Prototype Patent Profile Shot\" width=\"700\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main8.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main8-650x311.jpg 650w, https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main8-325x156.jpg 325w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You can see from the limited patent photos we have that the design is borrowing aesthetics from the Davinci IQ and <a href=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/davinci-miqro.html\">DaVinci Miqro<\/a>. The shape and the mouthpiece design scream Davinci.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">Innovation<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As pioneers in the market in terms of innovation and shiny new tech, we hope they bring some life into this market. With the DaVinci IQ2 they managed to implement dosage control, and we think it\u2019s entirely possible they can do that too with oil vapes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In fact, this would be huge for medical cannabis users and functional users who want to keep their dosage in check. Dosage control on oil vapes is hard and it\u2019s very easy to accidentally take too much.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20049 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main7.jpg\" alt=\"DaVinci vape Pen flat display\" width=\"700\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main7.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main7-650x311.jpg 650w, https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main7-325x156.jpg 325w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">With non-refillable pods, we can also maybe see a futuristic system where the device detects the pod and potency automatically, foregoing the need to adjust and enter all those numbers and ratios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This would be super convenient and quick. We\u2019ve only really seen the <a href=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/dosist-pen-review\/\">Dosist vape pen<\/a> think about dosage control, so we gladly welcome the innovation the DaVinci team may have.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">What we&#8217;re hoping to see<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dosage control would be awesome and considering this is a pod-based device, it would make sense that following in line with the Pax Era that the cartridges will be pre-filled and disposable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">With the 4 what seems to be LED holes on the bottom, it\u2019s possible we\u2019ll also see some form of temperature\/power control which is also very handy. We\u2019re predicting there to be a smartphone app that allows you to set the values, just like on the Pax Era. But with <a href=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/apple-bans-major-vaporizers\/\">Apple Banning Vaping Apps<\/a>, we aren&#8217;t going to hold our breath.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20047\" src=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main5.jpg\" alt=\"DaVinci vape Pen side view\" width=\"700\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main5.jpg 700w, https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main5-650x311.jpg 650w, https:\/\/tvape.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Davinci-Vape-Pen-main5-325x156.jpg 325w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It would be great to also see on-device calibration and adjustment, though we\u2019re not sure how possible that is given the predicted size of the unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">One thing to note, is that it looks like the device will be charged via micro-USB.
