\"KandypensPower Flexibility<\/h3>\n

The Kandypens Pen Vape features three voltage settings to choose from \u2013 3.2v, 3.7v, and 4.2v, similar to the way bigger and powerful devices like Vapor Cup<\/a>. This is pretty decent considering it\u2019s a pen however at this price point, full and complete control of power should be expected!<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll still get a good range to choose from, however cheaper devices even feature more settings to choose from. Not so impressive already.<\/p>\n

Users that prefer a complete voltage control usually prefer devices like the Tronian Nutron<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manufacturing Quality<\/h3>\n

Unlike the quality yet low cost units manufactured by Yocan such as the Yocan Uni Pro<\/a>,<\/span> Kandypens has never impressed us with the build quality and the same reigns true for the Pen Vape. We see the same cheap charger adapter, materials, and overall feel even in this \u2018premium\u2019 product. No, that\u2019s not real gold, although the price tag should have that! Not to mention<\/p>\n

Included in the box are the device itself, pen cap, USB charger, and 2 oil tanks with okay performance. Really unimpressive given the cost and not at all what we consider to be premium.<\/p>\n

\"KandypensBattery Life<\/h3>\n

They managed to stuff inside a 600mAh 510 thread battery<\/a> which we\u2019re fond of. Though on the flip side they use a really cheap USB thread-on adapter which sucks to use.<\/p>\n

No MicroUSB, no USB-C charging, and if you lose the original adaptor (likely to happen to some of us!) then you\u2019re out of luck. Pass-through charging is also not available and overall we\u2019re quite disappointed by this too.<\/p>\n

Portability<\/h3>\n

It is very convenient and portable to use like every oil vape, but significantly less durable than something like the Vessel cartridge battery<\/a> and CCell Palm<\/a> which feel more premium and powerful.<\/p>\n

Ease of Use<\/h3>\n

The Kandypens Pen Vape is quite easy to use like the units such as the Tronian Nutron<\/a> any oil vape pen. One-button interface and simple operation make it straightforward and easy to use. You shouldn\u2019t have a hard time getting quality results from almost any wax pen.<\/p>\n

Discreetness<\/h3>\n

Unlike the Linx Hermes 3<\/a> which is slick and slim, it is s<\/span>haped like a big chunky pen, the Kandypens Pen Vape looks like a premium pen when the cap is on. Still, some may find it strange why you\u2019re carrying such a fancy pen if you\u2019re not in formal business attire.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, it\u2019s quite small and you\u2019re able to take it practically anywhere without a problem.<\/p>\n

\"KandypensOverall Experience<\/h3>\n

While the Kandypens Pen Vape still performs alright and looks nice, compared to much cheaper devices, it simply doesn\u2019t even come close. Devices like the Linx Hermes 3 Oil Pen<\/a>\u00a0and Yocan Hive<\/a> among others all perform better for less with even more features.<\/p>\n

We\u2019d recommend against the Kandypens Pen Vape for its iffy build quality, poor charging function, mediocre results, and high price tag.<\/p>\n
