How it Works<\/h3>\n

The Gio is almost as straightforward as putting on a shirt – simply pop in a new cartridge and inhale! No button to press, no cleaning, no draw technique, no temperature settings.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s really simple and definitely very user-friendly. Unlike many other cartridge based vaporizers though, the pod needs to be aligned in the correct orientation to fit in properly. That\u2019s a very minor issue, however.<\/p>\n

\"GTemperature Flexibility<\/h3>\n

Unlike the Pax Era<\/a>, the G Pen Gio has no temperature control to speak of. The default temperature does run hotter and higher than the majority of vaporizers, and it does a good job of using your material effectively. Nevertheless, it still would’ve been nice to see some kind of rudimentary temperature control similar to what’s offered by the G-Pen Dash vaporizer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Vapor Quality<\/h3>\n

The Gio is definitely heavier and stronger hitting than the majority of cartridge vaporizers! Of course, you aren\u2019t given the ability to fine-tune your experience, though the Gio is certainly more than satisfactory. It produces large clouds in a short amount of time and certainly will get you to where you want to be!<\/p>\n

A big chunk of the vapor quality heavily relies on the brand of cartridges used. As each legal state has different cartridges available, it\u2019s hard to say which brand is the best of them all. It\u2019s a good idea to search the web for reviews and user experiences with any particular flavor or manufacturer before buying!<\/p>\n

Manufacturing Quality<\/h3>\n

The Gio is heavier and sturdier than similar cartridge vaporizers, which I personally prefer. It\u2019s not as meticulously crafted or refined compared to similar offerings, though it\u2019s not bad by any means. The only things you get in the box is a charger and the unit itself (cartridges sold separately), though there\u2019s really nothing else you could need in such a simple device!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s worth mentioning that Grenco themselves do not have the best reputation, and have been known to have products with health concerns related to chemical off-gassing and the likes. There are no known problems with the Gio yet, however. <\/div><\/div>

\"GBattery Life<\/h3>\n

The relatively tiny 180mAh battery is good for around 100 draws. This is plenty of juice for many days to come, allowing you to top it off and forget about it for a few days.<\/p>\n

The included charger tops up the Gio from flat until full in roughly 2 hours, which is an incredibly long time considering the puny size of the battery itself!<\/p>\n

Portability<\/h3>\n

Smaller than a marker, the Gio is definitely an ultraportable device. It\u2019ll slip well into practically any pocket and its sturdy enough to be tossed into a bag no problem.<\/p>\n

In fact, it\u2019s so small that losing and misplacing it may become a daily occurrence for the absent-minded like myself.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Ease of Use<\/h3>\n

As previously mentioned, the Gio is an incredibly simple device to use.<\/p>\n

In fact, it\u2019s so easy that you can easily give it to a friend who’s never used a pen vape in their life, as simply inhaling from the top will power it on and give a strong draw.<\/div><\/div>

Discreetness<\/h3>\n

Thanks to the tiny size, the Gio hides away completely in the hand easily, making it ultra discreet and ideal for situations where steal is important. Slide it out of your pocket, take a quick hit and put it away.<\/p>\n

For a trip to the museum or bar, the Gio is an ideal companion! Do keep in mind the rather large clouds of vapor you\u2019ll be exhaling though!<\/p>\n

\"GOverall Experience<\/h3>\n

The low cost of entry, good performance and overall package of the Gio makes it a tempting offer. For those who want the convenience of an ultraportable, cartridge-based vaporizer, the Gio is definitely a good choice.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, I personally prefer the Pax Era, as the stronger battery life, temperature control, and additional features make it a better package overall. In the end, I find it matters more on accessibility to the cartridges and concentrates that should influence your decision the most.<\/p>\n
