The Pulsar Go Series Wax\/Smoker ePipe is Pulsar<\/a>‘s latest addition to the market. We\u2019ve already reviewed the Pulsar APX Wax<\/a>, a micro-portable wax unit and it was pretty decent! The Go has a 1,100MaH battery and is designed for vaporizing wax and combusting dry herb. This niche in the market is relatively untouched \u2013 and likely for good reason. How it Works<\/h3>\n

The Pulsar Go Series is very easy to use. Five clicks of the button to turn it on, hold the button to warm the element, then take your draw.<\/p>\n

Doesn\u2019t get any simpler than that. There are two different pods included with the unit, one with a triple-coil setup for your concentrates, and a ceramic pad chamber for dry herb.<\/p>\n

By removing the glass mouthpiece you can swap these two on a whim.<\/p>\n

Temperature Flexibility<\/h3>\n

You do not have any control over your temperature. It will heat from anywhere between 932-1112\u00b0F\/500-600\u00b0C. The different pods I imagine work by changing electrical resistance giving you a slightly lower temperature for herb than wax. Heat-up time is only 5 seconds which is also a nice though.<\/p>\n

With that being said; a vague temperature range with no control or precise way to tell which temperature you actually sit at is not optimal and for that, I really think this device is outdated right out of the box.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Vapor Quality<\/h3>\n

Not very good. I wouldn\u2019t exactly call this vapor with concentrates as the temperature is so high you\u2019re definitely burning a good chunk of your material.<\/p>\n

With dry herb, this definitely will just burn your material so this is not a dry herb vaporizer, and I struggle to consider it a wax vaporizer since it burns so hot!<\/p>\n

You do on the other hand get very large and substantial clouds, so if you\u2019re a cloud chaser with no other priorities, this unit may be right for you!<\/p>\n

Elsewise, the heat, flavor, and smoothness of the \u201cvapor\u201d is really below-par and there are many other units I\u2019d recommend instead \u2013 especially the Zeus Thunder 2 for those flavor chasers. Again, for a sort of one-hitter type unit that can do wax and dry herb, it\u2019d work fine, however, I really struggle to see if there would be many people this would suit.<\/p>\n

Oh \u2013 and if you combust herb then do a wax session later, the flavor just tastes like\u2026 well, you can imagine. The borosilicate mouthpiece is nice; however, it likes to retain flavor and scent from your last session.<\/p>\n

Manufacturing Quality<\/h3>\n

Manufacturing quality is pretty ok. The glossy finish looks nice initially however it quickly becomes a grime and fingerprint magnet. You\u2019ll get scratches and fingerprints in no time.<\/p>\n

The hand-blown borosilicate mouthpiece is nice, though a drop onto concrete or a hard floor likely would spell disaster for it. The unit does have a nice weight and feel to it and ergonomics work well.<\/p>\n

For $80USD, you can\u2019t expect a supreme finish and quality, and that\u2019s understandable. They do include a standard accessories kit which has:<\/p>\n
